Terms of use

Asterism AI is under active development. Features, limits and supported models may change or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times or end. The Free plan is free of charge; a paid plan, where one is offered, is described below.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it sells the subscription to you, takes payment, adds and pays sales tax or VAT, and handles billing questions and returns, under Paddle’s buyer terms.

• A subscription renews each month or year, as you chose, until you cancel it. Cancel at any time in Settings → Plan → Manage billing.
• After cancelling, the plan stays in force until the end of the period you paid for; Free limits apply from the next day (days start at 00:00 UTC). Cancelling or moving to Free deletes nothing you made.
• If a renewal payment fails, the plan stays in force for 7 more days while the payment is retried, then Free limits apply.

• Give a real email address you control.
• Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account.

You keep ownership of what you write and of what the models produce for you. You give Asterism AI only the permission it needs to run the service: to send your requests and their context to the model you chose and return the reply.

Files you attach to messages are stored with your account and sent to the model of the chat you attach them in. Attach only files you have the right to share with that model’s provider.

Canvases are saved to your account and kept in your browser as a copy (see the privacy policy). During the preview we make no promise of backups: keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose with Download all canvases or Export.

Model replies can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything that matters before relying on it. Replies are not professional advice.

• Auto, including the organizer, is included up to a daily token budget, which may change.
• When you add your own API key for a model provider, requests made with it are billed to you by that provider and governed by your agreement with it.
• You must follow the usage policies of the model providers your requests reach.

Do not use Asterism AI to:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights;
• generate content that the model providers’ policies prohibit;
• get around the daily budget, for example with multiple accounts, or resell access;
• probe, overload or attack the service or other users’ accounts.

We may suspend or close accounts that do, and you may stop using the service at any time.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Asterism AI is not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages arising from your use of the preview.

When these terms change we update this page and its date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

A contact address will be published on this page before general availability. Everything this policy lets you do — removing keys, deleting canvases, deleting your account — works from the app itself.
